It has been nearly a month since I last texted Hilary from The Met, and she still hasn’t responded, so I decided to email another one of my contacts at The Met. I emailed Cory Toeves who is the Assistant General Manager at the opera house and who has taken my club KAOP under wing. I started the Kid’s Opera & Art Posse when I was in third grade, and one of the things that we did every year from the start of the club was go to New York once a year to see an opera live at The Metropolitan Opera House, and she was one of the people there who helped organize fun things for us to do there like backstage tours and things like that. I have about 3 weeks until I have to turn in Criterion A, so I hope she responds before then. If she has not responded by the 10th or 11th of September, I may try to email another person or maybe I’ll go back to Google and see what more I can find even though the information I am looking for seems to be scarce.

Today I also packed all of the things I would need to make my costume designs and set model so that I could ship them to New York, where I will be for the next 4 months. I pulled everything that I think I would need, and fit all of it into two Amazon boxes. Should I need anything else, I will order it off of Amazon or go and see if an art store in NYC has it in stock.
