Today I started composing my piece. I was a bit surprised by the voice feature on Flat (it is a platform that plays the notes when you click on the space on the staff), and I was expecting to be able to maybe adjust the voice type, or maybe the the voice would sing the words as well, but it didn’t. I tried to go and look if Noteflight or Soundtrap had a better voice program, bur Noteflight had no voice and Soundtrap was having trouble making my account, so I decided to stick with Flat. I had a vague idea of what I wanted the recitative to sound like, so I was able to compose that today - I’ve never composed for voice before and it’s harder than I’d initially thought. Thankfully this part is just recitative which is just spoken song, so it’s voice only.
